Slieve Snaght and the Poisoned Glen,

Distance  14km, with total ascent 700 mts ,

Time 6-7 hours for this demanding walk.

A challenging walk with a great sense of achievement at finishing it,

The walk in on the poisoned glen crosses over an old bridge built for an entrance into the Guinness estate, heading up the glen can be wet with poor drainage,  but stay to the left an follow the deer path.

Take in An Cnoc Fada, Drumnaliffeenn mountain, and Slieve Snaght,

Navigation may be necessary if the mist or cloud appears,

great views of the Glover walk to the North West, another 22km challenging walk, which is done in Memory of Joey Glover who was a founding of The North West Mountaineering Club member .

Return by the Devlin River to the roofless church.
