Itinerary

You will arrive on Friday 28th April Afternoon/ evening for our meet and Greet dinner and meet your fellow guests and hikers,

On Saturday 29th,

Bus to Dunlewey  

Our Starting point will be Errigal Car park, Climbing Mac Uchta (300mts  climb ) also known as little Errigal and heading North East to An Bheithigh (Beaghy) and descending to the historical Altan Farm and then returning on the old horse track to our pick up point.  With loads of spectacular views and this is one of my favourite walks here in the North West of Donegal and you can learn about the real history of Altan Farm.  

This walk is on the hills and we return by an old horse track…..

Walk will be 10km on Heather and Rocks with some uneven ground,

On Sunday morning 30th,

After breakfast we will take a bus to the Ferry to take us to Arranmore Island, and after a 20 minute crossing, we will ramble along the Eastern coast and heading Northward of Arranmore to view the sea stacks on the North Eastern corner of the Island and then view the Light house on the island which was built in 1798 which is perched on the cliff edge, and then returning along some roads and old bog tracks back to the pier.

This walk will be 17km on some small roads and bog tracks, heather cliff tops and stony tracks
